This 1751 Georgian house, the former residence of the Reverend Mr. Jacob Harden-bergh, founder of Queens College (later Rutgers University), is listed on the State and National Registers of Historic Places. Old Dutch Parsonage is available for small weddings; it can accommodate fifty people for cocktails and a dinner buffet and 35 for a sit-down dinner. They require a tax-deductible donation of $100 for the first two hours and $25 for each additional hour, which includes setup and cleanup time. Old Dutch Parsonage has no running water, but there is a bathroom located across the street from the building.

Located in the D&R Canal State Park, the Prallsville Mills, which are on the National Register of Historic sites, overlook the Delaware River, the Delaware-Raritan canal, and Wicke-cheoke Creek. The main building, a 1711 grist mill, can be used for private parties, with a fee of $1,675 for ten hours. The mill's main floor is slightly above ground level and is usually used for dinner and dancing; the stone-walled basement is used for cocktails and opens directly onto the waterside. The maximum party size is 150. The kitchen and two bathrooms are in a separate building; there is no running water in the main building of the mills, but there are ceiling fans, air conditioning, and heat. The staff can provide names of recommended caterers. An additional space, the Saw Mill, will be available in 2007 for rentals. Tenting is also available on front lawns, accommodating 250 people.

This 83-acre National Historic Landmark, on the north shore of Staten Island, contains a notable collection of Greek Revival, Beaux Arts, Italianate, and Victorian buildings. Snug Harbor, built in the nineteenth century as a home for retired sailors, offers several spots for wedding receptions. Reception sites include the Great Hall, a 1918 Beaux Arts - style building with vaulted ceilings and restored Palladian windows; the Upper Great Hall can accommodate between 125 and 350 guests, and the Lower Great Hall can hold between 50 and 200 guests. A tent option may be available on the front lawn of the Governor's House. Gardens can be used for ceremonies and cocktails.
